TAITRA Witnesses the Establishment of “Taiwan Medical Specialty Alliance” Cooperation in the Development of International Clients

President & CEO of TAITRA, Walter M. S. Yeh witnessed the Universal Eye Center, Dianthus Medical Group, Taipei Beitou Health Management Hospital, Purple Sun Clinic, TPI Dental Clinic, Doctors’ Doctor Clinic, and Yuan Li Medical Beauty Group, the 7 domestic clinics with medical specialties to sign MOU for alliance, and jointly organize “Taiwan Medical Specialty Alliance” to cooperate in developing overseas clients to come to Taiwan, utilizing the high quality of medical services provided by Taiwan clinics with medical specialties.

President & CEO of TAITRA, Walter M. S. Yeh expressed that the medical care services of Taiwan can be described with 3 characters, namely “Professional”, “Safety” and “Treat Patients as Family”. For many years, TAITRA has actively promoted Taiwan's international medical services. The goal is to let the world know high-quality medical services of Taiwan, establishing Taiwan's international medical brand image and awareness. In the future, we will also actively assisting “Taiwan Medical Specialty Alliance” to develop overseas clients through the promotional platform of TAITRA domestically and internationally, such as the Sourcing Taiwan held domestically dated on 22nd March, the Medicare Taiwan in June: and the 5 Taiwan Expos held in New Southbound countries in 2018.

Wang Bing-Long, chief executive of the Taiwan Medical Specialty Alliance, said that the mission of the alliance is to make up for the inability of large hospitals to provide sophisticated, customized services. After the establishment of the alliance, through cross-sector integration, customer service will be enhanced. In the future, through regular gatherings, exchanges, and exchanges of experience, we will jointly develop overseas customers on the basis of mutual trust and promote Taiwan's premium medical service brand. Chief executive Wang particularly affirmed the guidance and assistance of TAITRA over these years for SMEs in the medical sector, bringing them into the international market, broadening their horizons, and enhancing their international visibility.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, from January to December 2017, more than 305,600 people came to Taiwan for medical treatment such as disease treatment, health examinations and medical cosmetology, creating self-financed medical service revenue of 17.46 billion New Taiwan dollars. The alliances of 7 clinics with varied medical specialties and has served many international clients, which have innovated the cooperation model of the medical community in Taiwan and can be more mobile and comprehensive in promoting international medical services of Taiwan.
