In Recent Years, no other advancement in medicine has been so revolutionary and game-changing, as is the technology that follows 3D printing. 3D printing is a process in which a machine layers on a given material to create a physical object from a given digital design. Although still in its development stage, 3D printing has given the medical world a new platform in which to advance from and take off.

Reports indicate that the current major share in the global market of 3D Printers is not the machine itself, but rather its software and services. These services have shown massive growth rates and look to be very promising in the future.

These 3D printers are also already seeing much popularity and utilization due to the amount of materials that one can install on the printer to create physical objects. The most significant is that of using cells and plastics to create prosthetics and other medical applications. Not only can these printers be used to print mundane objects such as tools and furniture, but today, they are printing hearts, and all sorts of organs at a fraction of the price it would cost to execute a full procedure.

While being very versatile, these 3D printers have grown in high demand and are being accepted and celebrated all over the world as the next step in medical technology. 3D printers thus far have been successful in the printing of a variety of applications, with the most notable including:  teeth, tissue fabrications, organs, and surgical instruments.
