【COVID-19】The Content Tokyo 2020 delayed to October as coronavirus spreads

Japan's largest content licensing exhibition (Content Tokyo) was scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight, April 1-3, 2020. This is the 4th time that the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) organized Taiwanese brands to participate in this industry-leading exhibition platform. The mission is to assist Taiwan's original brands, characters, animation productions, and art licensors expand to international markets. With the support of the Bureau of Foreign Trade, TAITRA will promote Taiwan's cultural and creative potential and strive toward cross-industry, cross-platform and cross-market cooperation opportunities.
Given the potentially grave threat that COVID-19 poses to people, TAITRA believes that the health and safety for all exhibitors and visitors should be the top priority. After considering TAITRA and many other participants’ concerns, the organizer came to the decision of reschedule the event to October as the following dates and venue. Content Tokyo 2020 is rescheduled at Pacifico Yokohama from October 28 -30, 2020, and Licensing Japan will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 27 -29, 2020.
TAITRA has organized 14 companies to participate in Content Tokyo 2020, covering original character, art IP, VR, animation production and AI. Taiwanese companies including: KK Stream, which is encoding and streaming for video and music; the popular graphic illustration animation company - Next Animation Studio; original character My Favorite Towels operated by Studio Ilya Animation; Sunshine And Moonlight, which is famous in developing projects in film and television; Engine Studios make the cute and vivid character, Hello Manui; Speed 3D Inc. is a foremost pioneer in the Augmented Reality (AR) application field; QUEMOLICA is honored with the Golden Pin Design Award, Cultural Creative Award and Special Trend Award; DreamMaker Media is committed to create animation character, MILUEGG family; Wanterful International owns the IP - wdog; EXTRA BLEND is a licensing agency and creative incubator; as well as gaming company - Toii Inc., Zero three zero International Ltd, SUNNYBAG company - Sunny Fiber industrial and Lisa Everfashion Corp.
