【COVID-19】Maison & Objet announce the cancelation of the 2020 September edition

While there are encouraging signs that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is in decline, there are still far too many uncertainties regarding travel conditions for international exhibitors and visitors. Moreover, the lack of clarity regarding large gatherings in early September in Paris also caused M&O organizers to cancel the September edition of the Maison & Objet trade fair.

MAISON&OBJET PARIS (M&O) attracted over 75,000 buyers and 3,000 exhibitors from around the world. It is one of the most important international fairs for home decor, interior design, architecture and lifestyle products. TAITRA has organized 17 companies to participate in MAISON&OBJET PARIS including: DAQI CONCEPT, SCIENCE INTERNATIONAL, Leading Generation, ERCHANDISE, TZULAI BRANCH, TAGather Goods, CiPU CREATIVE, TAIWAN LUNG MENG, TAIWAN CREATIVE, TAIWAN, MARBILLUM, FUNWOOD, CARPENTER BROTHER & SISTER, TreAsia Design, SomeShine and Rice Ear. These companies offer superior design and creativity in areas such as home decor, tableware, clocks, watches and lamps, office accessories, bags, and air fresheners. They also received global design awards from iF, Red Dot, Taiwan Excellence, GIA, Tokyo Design and others.

Despite the cancelation of the M&O fair, TAITRA will host an online product launch during Paris Design Week in early September. The online alternative will also accompany a social media promotion program to generate business opportunities in France. TAITRA has also set up an online Creative Design Product Zone (Online Boutique for Creative Design Products: https://creative-design.taiwantrade.com/) to help foreign buyers source Taiwan's finest cultural and creative products.
