The needs of Belarusians in Internet traffic are growing rapidly. The launch of sales of 5G smartphones anticipates the future in the direction of 5G development.
“Over the past two years, the average amount of traffic consumed by one subscriber in the MTS network has grown almost three times. Most subscribers have already migrated from 3G to 4G. With the launch of the 5G network in Belarus, the situation will change dramatically: this will accompany a further increase in traffic consumption by subscribers and an increase in the quality of service perception. Shaping the future, we decided to be the first to bring a smartphone with 5G support to the market,” explain the interest in the new product in MTS.
5G technology will provide subscribers with a new user experience with significantly higher speeds and related new services. The technology also provides low ping.
In December 2015, MTS subscribers were the first to gain access to LTE. Then the penetration of 4G-smartphones in the operator’s network was about 17%, today this figure is approaching 90%. Thus, users determine the need for new services.
The new Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G has a 6.39-inch screen with a resolution of 1080x2340 and a slider mechanism. For shooting, a dual front camera of 24 megapixels is provided, and artificial intelligence is responsible for the quality of the pictures. The main camera has a resolution of 12 + 12 megapixels. Inside, a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and a 3800 mAh battery with fast charging function “work”. The smartphone has a 5G module, where the data transfer rate can exceed 1 Gb / s. There is 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory. The power of the smartphone is enough for streaming video in 8K format.
The smartphone is presented in the MTS retail for 1799 rubles. In installments for a year, the monthly payment will be 163 rubles, for two years - 78 rubles. The novelty is available in large salons of Minsk and regions. There is also delivery throughout the country when buying in an online store.
