Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) sealed lease agreements at its new logistics centre with a top-tier logistics player from Hong Kong and a luxury brand distributor from Europe. Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited (“FPIT”), Thailand’s leading industrial property developer and wholly owned subsidiary of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited (FPT), has launched a new logistics centre at Bangplee, Samut Prakan, known as Frasers Property Logistics Center Bangplee 7. Since the initial phase of the launch, the project received an overwhelming response with over 60 percent of space leasing committed by leading logistics operators. This logistics park is set to uplift a whole new standard of logistics centre operations in the Bangplee district where it will house internationally renowned premium brands.

“The continuing growth of e-commerce and the new trend of supply chain brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in a significant shift in the logistics industry globally,” commented Mr. Sopon Racharaksa, CEO of Frasers Property Industrial (Thailand) Company Limited. “This in turn has created a positive impact on our customers’ business, particularly those in the logistics, warehousing and fulfilment sectors, as they are now looking for additional space to meet their growing needs. The partnerships with top-tier logistics players from Hongkong and Europe signify another milestone in FPIT’s development capability in delivering an FM Global-approved facility which is the highest standard of safety and resilience in the market.  Moreover, the facility is fully compliant with GMP regulations and certified LEED Gold standard. We will continue to deliver inspiring seamless business solutions to every customer to ensure that their business needs are met.”

Frasers Property Logistics Center Bangplee 7 comprises three buildings with a total gross floor area (GFA) of approximately 74,000 sqm. The logistics park is designed and built to adhere to FM Global standard and GMP compliance in order to serve leading logistics and distribution operators in Food & Beverage, Consumer & Beauty Goods, and Medical & Pharmaceutical sectors that require high-standard practices and Cold Chain facilities.

FPIT has started the first of the three phases, namely, a large distribution centre that comprises three LEED Gold-certified units under one roof, reaching across a gross floor area of 44,000 sqm. The entire development process of this logistics park, from design to construction, is aligned with green building policy to reduce environmental footprint while optimising the well-being of the stakeholders. As such it is compliant with FPIT’s initiatives to introduce sustainability to building tenants and users and protect the environment in the long term.
