Car Toys is accelerating its revenue growth with a boost from the Podium mobile communication/payment platform.
The largest independent, omnichannel specialty car audio and mobile electronics retailer in America says it has attracted nearly 6,000 leads and converted over $50,000 in sales in the first two months of using the Podium platform. Car Toys began using the Podium Webchat solution to capture web leads and streamline the experience of scheduling customers for installation appointments in one of its 48 stores.
After driving qualified leads that led to increased revenue with Podium Webchat, the company expanded its use of Podium to include the technology provider’s “Feedback, Campaigns, and Reviews” solutions. In addition to the customer experience tools, Car Toys relies on Podium's reporting functionality to better understand the demand for products in different geographies and markets.
"The success we've seen using Podium has been incredible, and almost immediate," said Daniela Lukomski, marketing director at Car Toys. "As we continue to strengthen our relationship, our next step is rolling out Podium Reviews enterprise-wide. This feature will help us improve our Google reviews and rankings across our 48 locations, which is paramount to a brick-and-mortar business like us."
"As companies everywhere continue to elevate their digital transformation, we're excited to play a part," said Nick Miller, VP of retail at Podium. "The impact that Car Toys experienced in such a short amount of time exemplifies the impact that Podium's one-to-one texting conversations and Webchat communications tool can have on a business."
Seattle-based Car Toys is the leading retailer and installer of car audio, mobile electronics, and other accessories in the U.S. The company boasts locations in major cities across the western U.S., including Seattle, Spokane, Portland, Denver, Fort Collins, Houston, and Dallas.
Another retailer, American Rental, is also enhancing customer engagement and payment with the Podium mobile communication platform.
American Rental, which offers brand-name home furnishings, including furniture, appliances, electronics, and mattresses and more, with affordable payment options, is now offering the Podium enhanced communication platform. The Podium platform includes inbox, reviews, webchat, feedback, and payments solutions.
With the integration of reviews, the company has increased its review volume, going from 2.3 to seven average reviews each month for each location. American Rental’s partnership with Podium has also already begun providing quicker, easier, and more streamlined transactions and conversations with current and potential customers.
Specialty motorcycle afterparts platform Comoto Holdings also recently deployed Podium digital communication tools including web chat, reviews, and messenger across several of its banners. So far, the retailer has been able to uncover overwhelming customer demand for particular products and service, as well as drive thousands of qualified leads that led to incremental revenue with webchat.
"We immediately noticed positive reactions from our customers after integrating Podium, and the conversations and feedback came rolling in," said David P. David, president at American Rental. "With Podium, we generated more leads online, and our customers were able to complete transactions and make payments in an easy payment method."
“American Rental has seen the benefits of Podium in such a short amount of time, and their customers are more than pleased," said Doug Regner, VP of enterprise sales at Podium.”
Based in Bloomington, Indiana, American Rental operates over 55 retail locations across Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
