The 2nd Biennial Conference of the East Asian Regional Association of IMS,Taipei October 18th to 20th, 2013. The East Asian Regional Association of the International Musicological Society (IMS-EA) was founded in 2011 with the aim to provide a forum for exchanges among music researchers in the region, regardless of their areas of specializations and subjects of studies. It holds its second conference at National Taiwan University in the fall of 2013, hosted by the Graduate Institute of Musicology. The National Taiwan University, with the main campus situated in the lively Gong-guan area of Taipei, is a world ranking research university with colleges in all fields of humanities and sciences.
