It is likely, according to the co-founder of the company, Vyacheslav Klimov, that over time, an engineering company will appear in the structure of Novaya Poshty, which will deal with delivery issues using the drones.

The company "Nova Poshta", the leader of express delivery in Ukraine, is testing the possibility of mail delivery with the help of full-fledged unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), the co-founder of the company, Vyacheslav Klimov, said.

“Now our guys are testing the delivery of a drone. It will not be a toy drone, but a visually real small airplane that will just quickly deliver mail between cities,” he said, answering questions from the audience at a conference of the Union of Ukrainian Businessmen in Kiev.

According to V. Klimov, it is likely that over time, an engineering company will appear in the structure of Novaya Poshty that will deal with these issues.

As reported, the Ukrainian State Enterprise of Postal Communication "Ukrposhta" (now PJSC) was planning to launch a pilot project for the delivery of parcels by drones back in 2016.

The company then chose to test the Israeli Flytrax drones, which can deliver parcels weighing up to 3kg up to a distance of 23 km at a speed of up to 70 km / h.

"Nova Posta" was founded in 2001. Its network has more than 2.35 thousand offices, the company's fleet consists of more than 3,600 vehicles. In 2017, the company delivered over 145 million shipments.

In recent years company Nova Poshta became a leader in private and business transportation services. Due to the changes in client-service, e – commerce, logistic mobility and big number of networks across the country  - the company was able to overtake its nearest competitor  - government company Ukrposhta, which now faces big budget losses in case of unstable situation in the market and social life in the country.
