Chairman Huang of Taitra led Indian VIP press to visit Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion
On September 2018, Government of India launched Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY), to provide health insurance worth Rs 500,000 (US$ 7,124.54) to over 100 million families every year. Because of the policy, healthcare industry has become one of India’s largest sectors - both in terms of revenue and employment. Healthcare industry comprises hospitals, medical devices, clinical trials, outsourcing, telemedicine, medical tourism, health insurance, and medical equipment.
In order to seize the business opportunities of the Indian healthcare industry, Taitra set up the "Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion " in the Taiwan EXPO in New Delhi from May 16 to 18, 2019.
Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion offers a perfect platform to Indian companies and professionals in the medical field to gain knowledge from the expertise of Taiwan in the healthcare sector.

During the exhibition, many buyers and well-known Indian media came, including BioSpectrom, Times of India, Business Standard, IANS, Health Cxotv News, Dev Discourse Bews and so on. After visiting Taiwan Healthcare pavilion and experiencing the health check equipment, the journalists were amazed by the Taiwan healthcare industry prowess and many buyers have decided to cooperate with Taiwan.
The Indian healthcare sector is growing at a brisk pace due to its strengthening coverage, services and increasing expenditure by public as well as private players. Taitra promotes Taiwan healthcare industry and builds the brand image in India through the Taiwan EXPO and media reports. Taitra will keep on promoting Taiwan Healthcare Industry by Taiwan EXPO in Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
