【COVID-19】Taiwan-Vietnam Cold Chain Brands Live Stream Seminar
Source:Service Industry Promotion Center From:Service Industry Promotion Section 3 Update Time:2020/10/05

The COVID-19 pandemic is applying pressure on logistics systems, economic growth, and the global food supply chain. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) is helping facilitate the domestic cold chain industry with international marketing and cold chain technology and services export. Taiwan and Vietnam share similar climate and geographic conditions as well as similar challenges when considering cold chain services that are beneficial to the reduction of food waste. Taiwan is more competitive in price than Japan, Germany, France, and other countries. Plus, the Taiwanese cold chain development system management and tech applications are comprehensive, and have narrow but deep service experience.

TAITRA has collaborated for the second time with the Taiwan Cold Chain Association and Taiwan Association of Logistics Management to co-organize the Taiwan-Vietnam Cold Chain Brands Live Stream Seminar, at Taiwan Expo 2020 Vietnam (October 6 through October 8, 2020). The events will help local businesses and relevant organizations to understand Taiwan’s New Southbound cold chain advantages and development plans in Vietnam; the events will also promote networking between Taiwanese and Vietnamese businesses, and create future partnership opportunities.

The "Taiwan- Vietnam Cold Chain Brands Live Stream Seminar" will be held on October 7 to demonstrate related IT systems, hardware equipment, and technological services in Taiwan. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) invites buyers of the Vietnam Logistics Association (VLA) and the Council of Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce in Vietnam to build partnerships with Taiwanese All-in-One Cold Chain Team. Partnerships aim to cooperate on systems such as cooling equipment and cold chain transport; cold chain logistics system planning and consulting; and automation systems equipment. Participating companies will include ITRI, KENMEC; TechBishi; WAP; Flutai; Advantech; and BankPro. They are working hard to strengthen connections with local Vietnamese distributors and businesses with cold chain service needs. All those interested are welcome to register for the upcoming seminar with the online RSVP service at the website https://reurl.cc/pymbvr.
