From Brazil, HND seeks a place in the cosmetics market in Mexico via E-commerce

The Brazilian brand HND dedicated to beauty and personal care products plans to reach a 1% market share by the end of this year, after launching its e-commerce site that will allow its consultants to place their orders through this channel.

“With the e-commerce site, we want our own consultants to be able to significantly enhance the penetration of the brand and the sale of products. All of them have a replica of a web page as a replica of their own store and where they get a link that they can send through social networks to any channel that will help them maximize their time, resources, eliminate distances and give them added value. of a profit from sales through e-commerce of up to 30%”, explained Rodolfo Vargas, general director of HND in an interview for Forbes Mexico.

With this digital channel, he hopes to reach a sale of more than US$46,000 in addition, the director recognized that the cosmetic and beauty products industry is of great interest, since it has an estimated value of $10,000 million and an annual growth rate of 4%, according to data from the National Chamber of the Cosmetic Products Industry (Canipec).

Among the entities where HDN has had a greater reception, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Chihuahua, Guadalajara, Quintana Roo, Veracruz and Yucatán stand out.

“Of all our top-selling products, several of them are similar in all markets, our reducing gel, we have sold a million units in the country. Reducing treatments, exfoliants and creams have been the best sellers. We started with 15 products, today we have 110 and we want to reach 200 this year”, indicated the manager.
