The State Fund "Agriculture" (SFA) ordered payments of 23 million euro. Lv. under the Rural Development Programme (RDP: 2014-2020) The financial assistance provided to our country by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development supports 60 beneficiaries to improve their modernization and competitiveness, the SFA press office announced. The funds are mainly agreed for the renovation of the street network in rural municipalities. 10 406 826 BGN transferred to nine beneficiaries of the two largest investment sub-measures - 4.1. and 4.2. Of these, BGN 8 598 114 seven projects are provided to food industry enterprises under sub-measure 4.2 "Investments in processing/marketing of agricultural products". The remaining BGN 1 808 712 two projects under sub-measure 4.1 "Investments in agricultural holdings". Five farmers who have concluded contracts under sub-measure 4.1.2 "Investments in agricultural holdings under thematic sub-programme for development of small farms" receive a total of BGN 128 037.
The SFA recalls that EU subsidies are provided for the development of material capacity on farms, for the introduction of new technologies and for the protection of the environment. Under sub-measure 6.4.1 "Investments in support of non-agricultural activities" BGN 391 140 were ordered. With the agreed funds, the candidate implements a project for technological equipment of a workshop for the production of joinery and aluminum structures. The wheat and barley ranges in Doblychko are developing well, but drought is occurring A grant of BGN 195 580 has been translated for a project under measure 9 "Establishment of producer groups and organizations". Another project, but under sub-measure 16.1 "Support for the formation and functioning of operational groups under the European Innovation Partnership", receives BGN 115 633. Local initiative groups working on the Community-Led Local Development approach are subsidized by 1.5 million euros. Lv. for a total of 25 projects. Under the RDP (2014-2020), a further BGN 474 749 was paid. Under sub-measure 2.1.2 "Advisory services for small farms", as well as BGN 135 441, under measure 20 Technical Assistance complemented by the Fund.
