Mostostal Warszawa's offer won in the procedure for the construction of a new cargo terminal at the John Paul II Kraków-Balice International Airport. The value of the contract amounts to PLN 91.94 million gross, Mostostal Warszawa reported in a recent press release.

The contracting authority may exercise the option to supply and install additional construction elements (dosimetrical gates and unloading roller jacks) with a total value of PLN 580,000 or USD 117,100.

The term of the contract is 23 months from the date of its signing.

Two years ago, the International Airport Jana Pawła II Kraków - Balice (Kraków Airport) has obtained a building permit for a new cargo terminal. The facility will be an office and warehouse building with an area of approx. 2,670 square meters for the warehouses and approx. 1,180 square meters for the office space.

Kraków Airport is the largest regional airport in Poland. Before the coronavirus pandemic, it handled over 8 million passengers a year. The airport is a member of the International Airport Council (ACI) and the Association of Regional Airports. Every year, approximately 5.4 million passengers are expected to use its services. The lifting of restrictions by other countries resulting from the pandemic ending allows us to predict that the reconstruction of the network of connections may take place already from the spring flight schedule.

At Poland's second largest city, Krakow is located in the southern part, and used to be the country's capital between 1038 and 1596.

Mostostal Warszawa is one of the largest construction companies in Poland with annual revenues of PLN 1.3 billion. Acting as a general contractor, it carries out investments in all major sectors of the construction market in Poland and abroad.
