Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion in Taiwan Expo to showcase innovative smart healthcare solutions

Taiwan Expo in India, scheduled to take place from October 5 to October 7 at Hall 2 of Bombay Exhibition Centre, will feature the Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion. The pavilion has been curated to provide a comprehensive view of the smart healthcare ecosystem in Taiwan, highlighting the latest technologies and solutions for the healthcare industry.

The pavilion brings together Taiwanese hospitals, along with companies specializing in ophthalmic services, medical equipment, biomedical technology, and smart healthcare solutions. Exhibitors include National Cheng Kung University Hospital, Taichung Veterans General Hospital, Taiwan Nobel Medical Group, Taitung Instruments Co., Ltd., ACRO Biomedical Co., Ltd., EBM Technologies Inc., and Mikotek Information Inc.

Taichung Veterans General Hospital, recognized as one of the top 250 smart hospitals for 2024 by Newsweek, the prestigious American weekly news magazine, will showcase the applications of electronic paper in healthcare services. The world-leading hospital has adopted the electronic paper intravenous transfusion tag (NFC M-tag to effectively enhance medication administration safety while conserving electricity.

EBM Technologies Inc., a leading provider of total solutions for medical imaging systems, is set to display the Ubiquitous Diagnostic Environment (UDE) App. The UDE app converts an iPad Pro into a standalone DICOM server, viewer, display, and Al-all in one. The advancement of this versatile application facilitates telemedicine and overcomes workstation barriers for the optimal outcome.

Mikotek Information Inc., an information service provider, will present the MikoDrip IV Monitoring System. The system employs a smart IoT device to remotely monitor real-time weight of IV drips. When the weight of the drip water bag reaches the alarm value, the device flashes a red light and emits a beeping sound. Simultaneously, medical staff can receive an alert message on their mobile apps.
