Czechs find new way to accumulate heat in sand in houses

Due to the rising cost of energy, the Czech people have started to find as many ways to generate energy as possible, such as heat pumps, solar panels, and wind power plants. Now they have even come up with an alternative way, an alternative energy system for the house -- using sand!
Their invention is based on the principle of heat accumulation in sand. This heating and energy system will be able to be used for households and even in large industrial enterprises, with practically zero operating costs. The service life is estimated at 50 years. The watt sand system assumes that the sand will be heated from its own photovoltaics, or directly from the grid in the era of zero electricity prices on the spot market.
Prices on this market can even be negative, according to the inventors. Alternative to classic batteries and to the entire energy system of the house, the sand reservoir acts as an energy accumulator. For houses, it is enough to heat it to a temperature of 400 degrees Celsius, for industrial applications it can be as high as 480 degrees.
The initial investment in a complete system is CZK 1.5 million (about USD 64,200/60730 EUR) for a household, and the operating costs are minimal or even none. Other advantages include environmental friendliness to the entire system. In practice, it produces no emissions and does not require any chemistry in the form of operational fillings. Containers with sand can be easily transported, which makes the whole system mobile. It is thus possible to draw energy from them practically anywhere.
This could be a new era of saving costs and coming with a revolutionary system that serves people, the inventors hope.
