4,000 exhibitors to participate in 2024 JIBA Expo in Tanzania

ABOUT 4,000 businesspersons both local and international are expected to participate in the JIBA Business Expo 2024 (JBEX) in Dar es Salaam this month.
Addressing the journalists on Monday in Dar es Salaam the Chairman for JIBA-Dar es Salaam, Mr Al-Junaid Hasham said the exhibition intends to empower the country’s vibrant economic landscape.
“Our main focus is to have a vibrant business community focus on entrepreneurship, skills building, trying to promote our country to the rest of the world,” he said.
He added: “The JIBA Business Expo 2024 is set to be a dynamic convergence of businesses from diverse sectors both local and global,”
He further said that the exhibition will serve as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange and business collaboration, fostering growth and innovation in Tanzania’s vibrant economic landscape.
The Expo expected to commence on the 31st of this month will also create a platform for exhibitors to expand their networks and launch new products.
“The Expo is a networking hub where local and global experts converge, connect with industry leaders, gain insights, and expand their business network for success,” he said.
On his part, JBEX 2024 Team Leader, Mr. Mustafa Jacksi noted that the JIBA Business Expo is uniting enterprises from more than 15 countries to delve into innovation, connecting across diverse industries like construction manufacturing, healthcare, and tourism.
He said the exhibition will involve more than 20 different industries such as construction and construction equipment, medical and pharmaceuticals, real estate transport and logistics, mining and mining exploration, and agriculture among others.
“Apart from local businesspeople, we have already exhibitors coming from different parts of the world including China, India, Japan, Dubai and Italy,” he said.
He further said the exhibitors will have opportunities to learn how to expand their business from renowned international business coach Dr. Mahmood Mawjee.
JIBA Members are all focused on improving economic benefit to their businesses and to be better citizens in their countries. This allows very effective networking opportunities towards that common purpose.
JIBA members come from all spheres of life, all sizes of businesses, and different sectors. Combined, there is a wealth of information that is shared between members to assist each other with business strategy, investment opportunities, and regulatory compliance.
