Hotéis Luzeiros, Meliá, Othon, and RCD Hotels are hotel brands already confirmed for the 11th edition of WTM Latin America

With a confirmed schedule from April 15 to 17, 2024, at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, WTM Latin America continues to solidify strategic partnerships in the final stretch of 2023.

After announcing the 16 tour operators already part of the Tour Operators Area, Bianca Pizzolito, Head of WTM Latin America, reveals confirmations from hotel brands for the 11th edition of the event: Hotéis Luzeiros, Meliá, Othon, and RCD Hotels mark the participation of this important segment in the fair. “The presence of national and international hotel brands is a significant asset in the exhibition area of WTM Latin America, and we are very pleased with the ‘inauguration’ of the area with these brands,” says the executive.

One of the highlights of the edition is the area intended for tour operators. Conceived with the purpose of establishing itself as an exclusive environment capable of offering a new model for direct relationships with operators, the Tour Operators Area has been growing since its creation. “This space is a benchmark when it comes to bringing together the main outbound tour operators and travel agents from all over Brazil, thus strengthening the market dynamics. We believe that, in 2024, it will be at least 10% larger in terms of exhibition area,” says Bianca Pizzolito, head of WTM Latin America.

Also, according to the executive, the number of participants in the event is expected to increase by 5%. In alphabetical order, the operators already confirmed for WTM Latin America 2024 are:  Abreutur, Bedsonline, Diversa Turismo, Europlus, E-HTL, Incomum Turismo, Interep, Just Travel, Newmon Travel, Nova Pasárgada, Orinter, Pastore Turismo, RCA Operadora, Schultz, Sou Traveler, Uneworld. “Other companies are in the negotiation phase and their contracts are expected to be signed in the coming months,” Bianca said.

Having taken part in more than five editions, the director of Newmon Travel, Newton França Ferreira, talks about the importance of the event and his expectation of increasing the number of agencies selling the operator’s products: “I consider WTM Latin America to be the most important trade fair in the sector, mainly because of the presence of international suppliers and agencies from all over Brazil. We always generate good business and visibility with the agencies. We close deals with new suppliers and update our mailing list. For the 2024 edition, we hope to launch new products and increase the number of travel agencies selling them by 40%, says the executive.
