Skoda’s new electric car said to be more affordable

Škoda, the leading Czech manufacturer of cars, has showcased its new electric car with a range of over 400 kilometers and a large trunk, at a price tag of only 25,000 euros.
The new Skoda is called the Epiq. It is the second of six new electric cars that the automaker will launch in the coming years. The first is called the Elroq and will be the electric equivalent of the Karoq. The Epiq is a small urban slightly raised model, as an SUV version of the Fabia. It is supposed to be the most affordable Skoda car with flashlights.
Skoda has so far shown a design study. The Epiq is supposed to measure 4.1 meters, boast a spacious interior for five people and a luggage compartment with a volume of up to 490 liters.
In addition, it should provide a range of over 400 kilometers and fit into the imaginary price level of 25,000 euros. It will be produced at the Volkswagen plant in Pamplona, Spain, alongside sister models from Volkswagen and the Cupra.
The Epiq small urban crossover should be an ideal choice for customers who are new to electric mobility. In addition to the attractive price, it will also become a milestone in the history of the Skoda brand.
The Epiq model should be presented in August, trial production starts already in Mlada Boleslav. For now, there are some concept photos on the market released by Skoda. It will be a typical Skoda with all ingenious and practical solutions.
Main rivals on the market of affordable electric cars should be Renault 5 E-Tech or Citroën with the electric e-C3.
