2011 Design at the Edges: 2011 IDA Congress

The International Design Alliance Congress Taipei was held from October 24th to 26th at the Plenary Hall of the Taipei International Conference Center. The event was the first design congress organized by the International Design Alliance, made up of three major international design organizations: the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (Icsid), the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (Icograda) and the International Federation of Interior Architects/Designers (IFI). The 3-day event featured more than 130 experts from 21 countries taking turns on the stage, which attracted more than 3,000 top local and foreign designers. Five main themes, including Economic Development, Internet Technology, Biotechnology, Urbanism and International Migration were extensively examined and discussed during the congress.
